Huge congratulations to Liz on the launch and publication of her 3 one act plays in Bailieborough courthouse Tomorrow. 🎭

Playwright, director and actor Liz O’Hanlon is launching her collection of short plays this May. Although, she never liked the word “writer”. She rather regards herself as an observer.

🎉 Exciting News, Shercock! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce the very first Shercock Culture Night, happening on Friday, 20th September 2024! As part of our programme, we aim to celebrate the life and work of the legendary Mícheal Ó’Cianáin, also known as The Shercock Piper.

Do you have any stories, pictures, or recordings of Mícheal? We would love for you to share them with us! And if anyone has a set of his uilleann pipes, it would be amazing to showcase them during the event.

Please contact us if you can help make this tribute truly special. Let’s come together and honor our local heritage! 🎶✨
