Passionate about driving social change? The WDC is hiring a 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗲𝗰𝘂𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 to join our team on a 3-year fixed-term contract to support the delivery of the New Solutions Social Innovation Fund and scale impactful community, voluntary and social enterprise initiatives.

As Social Innovation Executive you’ll act as a key point of contact for grantees, helping them navigate resources, report on outcomes and scale their social impact. You’ll be central to advancing WDC’s goal of inclusive and sustainable regional development under Pillar 4 of our strategy - Progressing Social Innovation & Social Enterprise Development.

The WDC is now accepting applications for the 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐨 at CREW, Galway, a new initiative supporting creative enterprises and innovation-driven startups in the region. Launching in January, the studio offers dedicated workspace, expert support, and a collaborative environment to experiment, innovate, and scale.

With 𝐀𝐈𝐌, the AI and Innovation Centre joining as anchor tenant, participants will receive strategic guidance on AI and emerging technologies, access to CREW & AIM’s partner programmes, and opportunities to collaborate and network with other companies across sectors.

The European Economic and Social Committee is organising its annual flagship youth event "Your Europe, Your Say!" on 19-20 March 2026.

Each year, the event brings together nearly 100 young participants and some accompanying teachers from the 27 EU Member States, the 9 candidate countries and the UK. Those participants are invited to debate and draw recommendations which are then passed on to high level EU officials and taken into consideration in the political and advisory work by the EESC.
