Inniu ar maidin, chuir mé fáilte roimh an Aire Oideachais, Helen Mc Entee, go Sord chun polasaí nua a Roinne maidir le hOideachas lán-Ghaeilge lasmuigh den Ghaeltacht a sheoladh. Ba dheis iontach í chun dhá scoil den scoth a chur i láthair: Gaelscoil Bhrian Bóroimhe agus Swords Educate Together NS.
Tá an plean dírithe ar dhearcthaí dearfacha i leith na Gaeilge a chothú i measc daoine óga, agus ar úsáid laethúil na Gaeilge a mhéadú, idir scoil agus saol an phobail.
Thapaigh mé an deis freisin chun an feachtas ar son Ghaelcholáiste do Shord, Mhullach Íde agus Domhnach Bat a ardú leis an tAire.

This morning I welcomed Minister for Education Helen McEntee to Swords, for the launch of her Department’s Policy for Irish-Medium Education outside of the Gaeltacht. It was a great opportunity to showcase two fantastic schools: Gaelscoil Bhrian Bóroimhe and Swords Educate Together NS.
The plan is focused on fostering positive attitudes towards Irish among young people, and increasing the daily use of Irish both in school and outside of school.
I also took the opportunity to raise the campaign for a Gaelcholáiste for Swords, Malahide and Donabate with Minister McEntee.
