It recently came out that, though ICE is taking much blame for Alex Prettis death, those who pulled the trigger were Customs and Border Patrol. The same ones who, on behalf of the DHS, seized my computer and hard drives in Boston on January 16, 2026.

They did this because I had 3 scopes purchased in Pakistan, in my bag. Since they weren't illegal, they were returned. But not the completely unrelated computer I use to edit videos. They tried various tactics with me. One even tried to buddy up to me, which you can see in the video.

The truth is, the federal government has never been your friend. Even before our current administration, their guys are not good actors. The one I'm talking to was evasive with his name. He didn't have a name tag while in plain clothes, but he told me was born in Serbia. The other officer talking off camera is Nicholas Horne, he did have a name tag. Keep your distance and document everything like I did with automatic hidden recording apps like XScamera.

Last Friday, yours truly felt the full weight of the U.S. government when it decided i was the problem.
I was detained by .s.bordercontrol, , and the Department of State in Dublin and Boston for a combined 8 hours.
On January 16th in Dublin, Agent Romero from the US Customs and Border Patrol pulled me aside. His reason? I was traveling with three Trijicon ACOG scopes—and apparently that, paired with two previous trips to Pakistan this year was enough to turn me into a “red flag.”
After hours of questions, I was eventually released and allowed to continue to Boston—only to be stopped again. This time it escalated. I was searched again (twice), detained and then my cell phone and computers were seized, which means I can’t do my work right now… I can’t even edit videos.
And the wild part?
They didn’t find anything illegal—because there wasn’t anything illegal.
By the end of the day, the scopes were cleared and I was released with them.
But the message was loud and clear:
You can be a U.S. citizen. You can do everything legally. And they can still decide to put you through hell.
I still have a secret recording of the interview, plus some footage from the Boston search/detainment.
Let this be your reminder:
The U.S. Government is not your friend.
Do not aid them in any capacity.
