Ed Sheeran says he's "not complicit" in the devastating conflict between Israel and Palestine, and the decision to remove Macklemore from his tour was not his.

The singer has posted a lengthy statement online, saying Macklemore's contract was with the promoter, not him, adding he would never cancel a tour and let down fans and those who work for him.

He also said he does not use his professional platform for politics, as his audience includes people of all backgrounds, and that there are "different approaches to being an advocate for change".

Macklemore was removed from Ed's US tour following his call for a "free Palestine" at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The rapper claimed venues were threatening to cancel shows if he wasn't dropped.

📩 DAILY DILEMMA: Is September too early for Christmas decorations?

Hi Niall and Sho,

I came home on Sunday after being out for a few hours, walked through the front door… and nearly had a heart attack...The Christmas tree was up 🎄

Not only was the tree up — the decorations were on, the lights were twinkling,
Now, I love Christmas as much as the next person, but it’s September! We haven’t even had Halloween yet!

When I asked my wife what on earth she was doing, she said she was “getting ahead of herself” and that Christmas is her favourite time of year.

I told her she’d officially lost the plot.

She told me I was a grinch and that I should “embrace the magic.”

So, what do you guys make of it. Sho's always banging on about loving Christmas - does she think this is ok?

The sisters who were seriously injured in the M9 crash last month say they are getting stronger as the days go by.

Alma and Niamh Kinsella, their sister Ella Hendricken and Alma's son Yemi suffered serious injuries after their car was struck by another car travelling the wrong way on the motorway.

An update from the sisters on a GoFundMe page, which has raised over 800 thousand euro, has thanked everyone for their support, and says they're taking things one day at a time.

The five teenage boys travelling the wrong way on the motorway all died in the collision.
