Large crowd attended a peaceful candlelit vigil held in Cappoquin last night, organised by Cllr. Donnchadh Mulcahy & Deputy Conor McGuinness. The demonstration was to bring the community together in a show of solidarity in response to recent violence & intimidation which, they said, won't be tolerated anywhere in west Waterford.

Established in 1859, it is the largest selling newspaper in the south-east of Ireland serving a population of over 100,000.
