In the final episode of the Fleadh Cheoil series, Neansaí Ní Choisdealbha, Tristan Rosenstock, and siblings Aaron and Ava Glancy kick things off with a lively set of reels.

This year’s Bardic Award Winners; Brendan McHugh, Josephine Nugent, and Pádraig McGovern perform a spirited selection of jigs, and the Buíon Cheoil Sinsear from Chloich Cheann Fhaola bring our Fleadh highlights to a rousing close, as we say slán to Wexford and hello to Belfast.

After an intense few weeks on the road, visiting the beautiful Gaeltacht regions of Ireland, we have come to our final episode. It’s been a journey of songs and stories, of breathtaking landscapes and deep connection with our people, our history and our stories. We finish the series tonight with a renewed appreciation for our beautiful language, and a sense that it belongs to all of us, simply because it lives in all of us.

We hope that you have enjoyed the journey. Our final episode airs in the next hour on RTÉ 📺
