💫Throwback Thursday💫

Another kitchen while everything still looks tidy.😊 My favourite plant here is the Ivy at the top.🍃We couldn't keep anything alive when we first moved in because the house was so warm! But the trick is to water them from underneath. I see lots of people on here putting them in the bath!🛁 We leave Ivy down on a little container and it's amazing the amount of water she drinks up!😉

We have also managed to kill some of the fake plants too though.😂The kids like to help out and water them but make no distinction between real or fake so everything gets a shower!🙈😂

If you swipe➡️ you'll see that this wall wasn't in the original house. I love open plan but that was a little too open plan for us! And these units are tucked in nicely behind the wall so we love them.🪴

🌿Monday Mood🌿

Even Croagh Patrick wanted to stay in bed this morning☁️☁️. But it is the start of a new week 😊 I'm always so organised in September, everything set out on Sunday evening and dinner in the slow cooker. 😂
But I was thinking about Majella's .5 post last week about not being able to do everything. There's sometimes no let up in the list of things that need to be done! But messaged back to say that it's just temporary and we'll all move on to the next stage and look back at these times with fondness.😊So I'm trying to chill and just enjoy these mad days!😂

💰Thrifty Thursday💰

The doors in here are over 9 foot high!⛰ So when I went looking for curtains I was quoted an average of €1000! I just couldn't justify it as we have 4 of them!🙈 So I went to Home Store and More and bought 2 identical pairs for €100 each and my very talented friend turned them into one pair of curtains!🪄💫
They are perfect in here for a fraction of the price.😊

🎂The birthday weekend continues🎂😂 and he is getting ready now to shop up a lego storm in McGreevy's .ie!😂

We had the best day yesterday. Yes I was counting heads all day and very glad to hand the boys safely back to their parents at Roonagh Pier!😂But they all had so much fun. We did the "easy" 6k loop with a detour up to the watch tower. And then they all got sticks and played battles the whole way back! 🗡🗡It's the simple things.😊 The cake was delicious if a little lopsided.😂And the sea was so calm so no need for my emergency plastic bags and baby wipes!🙏😂

🍂Cosy🍂

Anyone looking for my husband will usually find him here!😂 It's his new favourite spot. I took this last night when bedtime was done, the lunches were made and I could have a cuppa in peace!

We had one of those afternoons yesterday. Randomly a knife got stuck in the cutlery drawer and we couldn't get it open!🤯Eventually after lots of pushing and pulling and maneuvering and a few little curse words😉we finally got it open. Just after we'd eaten dinner with out cereal spoons from yesterday morning!🙄😂😂

Here's to a hassle free day today.😊Anyone else wrecked already?🤪

There was no time to get emotional this morning because he ran in!😂 child. The school was great and brought them in on Sunday to see their classroom so there were no nerves as we just dropped them to the door today.

I can't believe my baby is in school.🥰🥰

🤍Tile Style🤍

We don't have many tiles in this house. Trying to organise those last few weeks before move in with 3 small kids meant a very rushed hour trying to pick tiles before somebody broke something!😂And I change my mind about colours so much, I think tiles are just a bit too permanent for me! I love these grey tiles because they suit so many different colours. Although I think this green will be staying for a while.💚

🌻Sunday🌻

We only had to work from home for a couple of months but it was a tough juggle with the three at home aswell! Our essentials were definitely plenty of cups of tea, a comfy chair and looking out at this view.😊

Can you spot our sunflowers🌻 They can home from school with Ríona in June as tiny little things and they are just about to Bloom!🤗

Today's prompt for is Makeup Organisation. I haven't much to show because my makeup has been streamlined for 3 minute morning application!😂 I do love this little corner, especially my sentimental jewellery.😍🥰Hanging on the bottle is the first piece of jewellery my husband bought me. It is handmade, swipe➡️for a close up.🐈‍⬛ and he knew I loved one that my colleague had. do you still have the washing line?😍 The bracelet was given to me by my sister ❤ and she has given me a charm for my wedding and a birthstone when each of the kids were born.😍

I'm looking forward to a soak in here tonight. 💆‍♀️

Next week will be busy with the kids back to school on Tuesday, back to lunchboxes and uniforms! So we're just going to chill for the weekend and maybe visit the beach.😎😎
