A few years back, I created the original Corrie Bignell – The Unregistered Nurse, EmpowerHER Coach logo. Its soft blush tones, clean lines, and modern typography became a signature look for Corrie’s brand.

Feminine yet professional, approachable yet strong.

Recently, Corrie reached out with a top secret project: The Unregistered Nurses Collective. A new chapter and a fresh vision, but the goal was clear: keep the branding connected while giving this new branch its own identity.

The result is a cohesive brand family:

Colours: The same muted blush pink, black, and white palette keeps the overall brand instantly recognizable.

Fonts: The typography remains modern and elegant, with slight changes to give the Collective its own voice.

Details: The anchor symbol represents strength, support, and community, setting the Collective apart while still complementing the original brand.

It is similar but not the same. A visual identity that grows with the brand while keeping everything unified.

These three terms get thrown around like they’re interchangeable but they’re not. If you’re building a business or trying to grow one, understanding the difference matters. A lot. Here’s a quick breakdown:

Branding
This is WHO YOU ARE.

Marketing
