Best of luck to the Ferns United women who take on Wilton United from Cork in the FAI Amateur Shield Final next Sunday.

The Ferns ladies are the current Leinster Junior Cup champions, having defeated Whitehall Rangers from Dublin in this yearโ€™s Leinster decider, while Wilton United come into the final as Munster Junior Cup champions.

The Ferns United women are one of the greatest sporting success stories ever to come out of the village, having won over 30 major trophies in the past 20 years. They truly are the pride of Ferns. ๐Ÿ’š

A national title is the one major honour that has eluded this incredible team โ€” but hopefully that can all change on Sunday!
