My latest cover for the Timeless Reborn project, "Wild Is the Wind," is now officially live on YouTube.
For me, this track is the ultimate expression of mournful longing. It’s been defined by true legends, from Johnny Mathis to Nina Simone to David Bowie. Stepping into that arena required a massive production shift.
I took the core emotional tension of the original and reconstructed it as a dark, cinematic Alt-Rock/Trip-Hop track for 2026.
I wanted to keep the vulnerability of Nina's mournful vocals drifting above, but built on a foundation of heavy, creeping basslines and eerie, modern synths that weave through the mix. The goal was to create a slow, suspenseful groove that captures the feeling of being completely consumed by a futuristic vortex.
It’s moody. It's suspenseful. It's Wild.
