Sneak peek behind the scene of shooting the recent reel. If you rewatch that reel you might notice it has more than six camera viewpoints edited into 30 seconds of running time.

I needed same viewpoints at different stages of throwing to create the 'clipped' edit I was thinking of. It took somewhat 18-20 changes of the camera position in total.

I only have one camera, so it took me about two hours to shoot that reel jumping around and setting camera here and there. While usually it is 20-30 minutes to throw similar shape.

Pretty amount of effort is required for an idea to come to life.

Happy how the soundtrack played along as well.

Working on vases. Balance makes perfect. Throwing cylinder as tall as possible using as less clay as you can takes balance. How you sit, how you breathe, how you wedge, how soft the clay is, how much water you apply along with amount of pressure, how fast the wheel is spinning together with fingers sliding. Everything goes into you ultimately ride the Perfect Wave.
