The Gaza-bound Global Sumud campaign is the latest anti-Israel stunt dressed up as humanitarian action: no serious aid operation, no workable plan, no real path to Gaza, just cameras, slogans, and a movement built to turn failure into content.
The land convoy dissolved in Libya after being denied entry into the country’s east. Ten activists were arrested near the Sirte crossing, and Libyan authorities said they had not completed the legal procedures required to enter. The campaign had not reached Gaza. It had not broken any blockade. It ended on Libyan territory, under Libyan authority.
Yet the messaging remains fixed on Israel.
That is the grift: attach yourself to Gaza, call it aid, generate attention, and frame every failure as Israeli oppression. These campaigns became fashionable after Hamas terrorists invaded Israel on October 7, murdered more than 1,200 people, and dragged hostages into Gaza. Since then, “activism” has too often meant performative stunts, not serious humanitarian work.
No real aid operation. No responsible plan. No accountability for failure. Just another propaganda campaign built to keep Israel on trial.
