๐บ๐ธ ๐ฎ๐ณ UPDATE: India has expressed serious concern following recent incidents involving Indian-crewed vessels in the Gulf of Oman.
According to reports, three Indian sailors aboard the MT Settebello were killed after a U.S. strike on the tanker, which had 24 Indian crew members on board. India has called for an end to attacks on commercial shipping and emphasized the importance of protecting seafarers operating in the region.
On the same day, another Indian-crewed vessel, MT Jalveer, was involved in a separate security incident off the coast of Oman, prompting evacuation efforts and further concerns about maritime safety.
New Delhi has stressed that the safety and welfare of Indian seafarers remain a top priority and has urged efforts toward de-escalation and stability in the region.
