A father treated as a criminal and denied seeing his infant son before and after the child's death simply because his place of residency was listed as Gaza, though he spent the majority of his life in the West Bank. To change residency is practically impossible.

As the world leaders gather in Cairo for the Gaza reconstruction conference, Palestinians in Gaza have to deal with the reality of rebuilding from rubble. With more than 2,100 killed, over 10,000 injured and over 120,000 internally displaced, immense damage to property and economic facilities, those who are meeting in Cairo have a moral responsibility to lift the blockade on Gaza, end the 47 years of Occupation and advance peace and justice in Israel/Palestine.

Israel's bombardment of Gaza has ended, but many Palestinians must now tackle the challenge of rebuilding from rubble.

For the first time in history, the UK House of Commons will vote on Monday the 13th, on a resolution to recognize or not the State of Palestine. Although the outcome may not be binding to the Government of the UK, "if the majority of the 650 members of parliament turn up and vote for this motion, the moral and political pressure on the Cameron government would be immense." For those who live in the UK, it is time for action.

Over 30 world ministers, 50 delegations and 20 international organizations will gather in Cairo this Sunday for the Gaza reconstruction conference. Hopes are high for the people in Gaza that the world will come to their rescue and pledge the $4 billion requested by the Government of Palestine for reconstruction. The question remains, will Israel lift its blockage on 1.8 million Palestinians in Gaza and allow building materials to enter the captive strip?

The Israeli authorities have delayed indefinitely the entry of 60 truckloads of building materials into the Gaza Strip, a Palestinian official said."We were notified by the Palestinian National Company that Israel has indefinitely delayed the entry of th

Here we are again, the donor community is obligated to foot the bill for Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people. The deja vu Gaza reconstruction conference will be held in a few days in Cairo. This is something our international friends should be commended for but the question should be asked why doesn't the international community try to pressure Israel to end its occupation, which would at the very least save their own taxpayers' money.

Days ahead of a key meeting in Cairo on rebuilding Gaza in the wake of last summer’s bombardment by Israel, the prospect of forking out more millions has left international donors with a frustrating sense of déjà vu: they were in the same position in 2009 and 2012. This time, there’s a real risk the…
