TODAY: Israeli settlers attack solidarity activists who were accompanying Palestinian landowners in the West Bank village of Janata, near Bethlehem. Attacks in the area have increased following the establishment of an outpost in the area in March. The activists erected a barbed-wire fence around the last Palestinian home, which had been previously vandalized by settlers, to try to protect it from further attacks. Settlers physically attacked the activists while the army looked on, injuring 4-5. They also vandalised some of the activists’ and journalists’ cars. Oren Ziv, a member of Activestills who was documenting the event, was also harassed by a masked Israeli soldier who tried to take his camera. Photos : Oren Ziv / Activestills

YESTERDAY: Sheikh Saeed al-Amour in his home in the West Bank village of al-Rakeez in Masafer Yatta, after attacked by a settler using a metal object.
In April 2025, Saeed was shot in the leg at close range by the Israeli security coordinator of the nearby Avigail settlement. Due to the severity of the injury and the delay in treatment, doctors had no choice but to amputate his leg. Since returning to his home, Sheikh Saeed al-Amour has faced countless attacks and harassment by Israeli settlers and army. Photos : مصعب شاور / Activestills

YESTERDAY: Activists protest outside Damoun Prison near Haifa in solidarity with female Palestinian prisoners held inside, calling for their release. Protesters display slogans in Arabic reading ‘freedom for prisoners’, and ‘Prisoners are in danger..don’t abandon them’.
According to rights groups, more than 700 Palestinian women have been arrested in the West Bank, East Jerusalem and Gaza since Israel’s genocide began in October 2023. Most have been subjected to physical and psychological abuse during and after their arrest. In its report ‘Welcome to Hell’, the Israeli human rights organisation B’Tselem describes the Israeli prison system as a ‘network of torture camps’. Photos : Oren Ziv / Activestills
