Two young American heroes gave their lives defending freedom.
1st Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, was a dedicated air defense artillery officer and natural leader. A Southern Utah University graduate weeks from earning his MBA, he came from a military family and was known for his charisma, competitiveness, and always lifting up those around him.
Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Carrollton, Texas, had just graduated from Hebron High School and joined the Army with a heart full of purpose. She served as an air and missile defense crew member, protecting against the very threats Iran unleashes. A lover of music, dancing, and time with her mother, Isabella brought light and joy wherever she went.
These brave soldiers stood watch at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, where they were killed in an Iranian attack. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
We mourn them deeply and honor their courage. But let this be clear: the evil Islamic regime of Iran will not be allowed to keep taking American lives. They will face justice.
