💥 🤠 Friends! So excited about our updated Rabbi Menachem Froman documentary! Now called "Froman's Way", it's almost finished. And it includes the best of our exclusive footage of him (he passed in 2013), and also new footage we've shot since Oct 7, 2023 - of many of his proteges, Israelis and Palestinians - struggling to keep his courageous, healing vision alive in these very tough times.

In honor of Shavuot, here's our very tongue-in-cheek edit of Yosef Abramowitz 's 2022 Shavuot trip up to the top of Mt. So FB friends, are the times crazy enough yet? From American campuses, to Israel/Gaza, to 1000 other conflagrations...

And yes, we at JNY still believe movies can change the world a bit - I just created a *new* page, to help get support (and a few $$) to keep making movies, short and long, here in the Holy Land.

Yesterday, the 30yr anniversary of Rwanda's genocide, in 1994.
Israeli President Herzog was in Rwanda to help commemorate it: 800,000 Rwandans (about 10% of Rwanda's population then) were massacred by the majority Hutu population over a 100-day period in what was the worst genocide in recent history.

First photo: Herzog with President Kagame of Rwanda - among other things, he presented Kagame with a necklace calling for the Israeli hostages release.

Second photo: protagonist of our"Green Rebels" documentary project, solar visionary Yosef Abramowitz , with Jean Claude Nkulikiyimfura, Exec. Director of Agahozo Shalom Orphan Youth Village (The Village, for orphans of the genocide, was founded by a Jewish activist friend of Yosef's, and together they built Central Africa's *first* solar field there - the profits of the field go to the Youth Village!)
