When I told Aaron and Denis that they are going to drive 10 hours just to pick me up and do a road trip I knew itโ€™s going to be a fun adventure
I didnโ€™t think it will be one of my highlights of this year

One of the most special experiences we had on our trip to Vietnam was going to a knife-making workshop
We arrived at a cabin in the middle of the jungle of a guy who didnโ€™t know a word of English and with the help of his translator he showed us the Vietnamese techniques for making knives
All the raw materials he uses came from an abandoned American base from the last century and so blow after blow, grinding after grinding, me and lihi each created a knife, we engraved our initials O. L
An experience I will remember forever
