I’m beginning something new, yet deeply familiar.
I’m starting a Bat Mitzvah journey with my granddaughter. After doing this with my three youngest daughters, it feels both familiar and new — setting out together to experience, learn, and speak with inspiring women… and to film it along the way.
So I thought — maybe I should offer this to others as well.
In addition to filming family stories, I’m now offering full production and filming of a Bat Mitzvah Journey — visiting places and meeting people who are meaningful to you as a grandmother, mother, or daughter. We’ll think through the ideas together, film the experience, and create something beautiful and meaningful as a team.

And of course, I’m continuing my family storytelling project, where intergenerational families sit together to listen, ask, and share the unique story of their family.

🌿 Family in Focus – Every Story Deserves to Be Told

Simchat Torah 5786. We were making the rounds between synagogues in Ramla — dancing, singing, full of joy.
On the way, I spoke with someone I’ve known for years. She told me:

“We wanted to film my father’s life story, a’h, but it’s such a big production — so many people to interview all over the country, and no one in the family has time.”

And I thought: It would have been so much easier to record her father himself — he would have told the story best, and it would have been a wonderful family experience to do it together, while he was still here.

So maybe now is the time.
🎥 Is there someone in your family whose story deserves to be heard?
💬 Would you love to capture it, but worry the cost will be too high?

Take a look — it’s easier than you think:

Several years ago we were sitting with friends at a Purim seuda and and we played a game with question and challenge cards. One of the children was challenged with telling a story from his childhood—something that can be a bit difficult for a nine-year-old. His grandfather offered to accept the challenge and began telling not one story, but his life story -growing up in America in the 40's, his aliyah to Israel in the 50's, and on and on. I turned to his daughter and said, “This is material for a movie.”
And that’s how an incredible family film was born—an engaging story woven from interviews, family connections, and a deep understanding of the grandfather’s life, including life insights and a living piece of Jewish history.

Filming the movie was not just documentation; it created a special experience. Everyone became a storyteller, an actor, an active participant. And in the end, a documented family story remained—one you can return to again and again through the storyteller’s unique lens.
