Dear Members and Friends,
As we mark the Sukkot, we are reminded of the fragile yet meaningful symbolism of the sukkah a temporary dwelling that reflects both the vulnerability of life and the strength of faith.
For us, descendants of the Jewish community of Zduńska Wola, this image resonates deeply. During the Holocaust, our families were torn from their homes and forced into lives of transience and suffering. And yet, like the sukkah, they carried with them the resilience of spirit and the enduring hope for renewal.
Today, as we sit in our sukkot surrounded by family, community, and light, we honor the memory of those who perished and pay tribute to the survivors who rebuilt their lives in Israel and around the world. Their courage continues to inspire us, and their legacy remains at the heart of our mission.
May this Chag Sukkot bring you and your loved ones joy, peace, and blessing.
May we continue to strengthen the bonds between us and ensure that the memory of our community endures for generations to come.
Chag Sameach and Moadim L’simcha!
With warm regards,
Zvi Chanoch Stern
