Some ideas on how to network whilst in isolation...

Now, we want to preface this with the fact that if you are at home struggling, feeling down or looking after kids you should feel no shame in not working at all.

Sometimes just getting through each day is a miracle in itself ❤

However, if you are at a loss of what to do during this time, and have no clients but want to grow your business here are some ideas:

🔥 Add your Facebook friends on LinkedIn - you’d be amazed at how supportive they may well be.
🔥Look into your favourite business Facebook groups and add the members on LinkedIn.
🔥Reach out to three individuals on LinkedIn you have always admired and tell them how much their words mean - this is really because we should be spreading good vibes now 🙏

If you are struggling with a message try:

I doubt any of us had managed to get through a day, or even an hour without hearing the word corona.

And whilst we are by no means medical professionals, and so we won’t speak to that. We do ask you all to wash your blinkin’ hands.

That being said working with small businesses in these times of exceptional uncertainty, it can be unbelievably scary.

Already, those individuals and businesses in the tourism industry are struggling a tremendous amount, and we sincerely mean it when our heart goes to those who relied so much on tourism as their source of income.

This is a time of seriousness and constraint. And at English Speaking Networking, we are taking it extremely seriously:

✳️For the moment meetings will continue as normal, given the government deadlines restrict only those over 100.
✳️That being said, we are prepared to move online, should the risk become too extreme, but will continue to maintain our exceptional calibre of speakers and guests.
✳️ We would be honoured to offer a free visitor ticket to anyone in the tourism industry, either because they are looking for a supportive group or at their sales pipeline beyond this time.
