Big news for the Israeli cyber ecosystem: Frame Security secured an impressive $50M financing round!

As the threat of AI-powered social engineering and deepfakes grows, Frame is stepping up to turn an organization’s biggest vulnerability - the human element - into its strongest line of defense.

Founded by CEO Tal Shlomo and CTO Sharon Shmueli, Frame is building a new category of "human risk security." Their platform uses AI to automate security training, creating hyper-personalized simulations that empower employees to spot modern attacks before they happen.

This significant round was led by Index Ventures, Team8, and Picture Capital, with participation from industry leaders including Assaf Rappaport (CEO of Wiz) and Elad Gil via Gil Capital.

At What’s Next in Israel Tech, we’re always inspired to see Israeli founders tackling the world’s most pressing digital challenges. We can't wait to see how Frame continues to redefine the future of cybersecurity.

Mazel Tov to the entire team!

🎉 Huge congratulations to Gabriel Peer for being named one of Globes’ "40 Under 40" for 2026!

As the CEO and Co-Founder of Starstone Biotech, Gabriel is tackling one of the most pollutive and hardest-to-decarbonize sectors in the world: the cement and concrete industry.

Starstone is revolutionizing construction tech by developing a biology-based cement replacement. Using engineered bacteria and fermentation, their technology completely removes the need for traditional kilns and quarries, bringing a scalable, cost-efficient, and low-carbon bio-concrete solution directly to manufacturers.

It’s exactly the kind of bold climate-tech innovation that makes the Startup Nation so incredible!

We had the privilege of sitting down with Gabriel to hear more about his vision and the future of sustainable construction - link to the interview in the first comment.

🤖 Flying robots that pick fruit. Yes, really.

While the world debates the future of farming, Tevel Aerobotics Technologies is already living it. Their AI-powered Flying Autonomous Robots™ navigate inside orchards, detect the exact ripeness of each fruit using computer vision, and pick it - delicately, accurately, 24/7.

The problem they're solving is bigger than it sounds: 20–30% of the world's fruit crop goes to waste every year, not from disease or drought, but simply because there aren't enough hands to pick it. The agricultural labor shortage is a global crisis that Tevel is already solving by harvesting apples, peaches, plums and more commercially across the U.S., Italy, and Chile.

Watch this video, where Gerson Panitch interviews Yaniv Maor, Founder & CEO of Tevel Aerobotics Technologies, to find out more about Tevel's cutting-edge technology.

Big news for the future of mental health.

Congratulations to the team behind this breakthrough: Israel’s Health Ministry has officially cleared an AI-powered psychiatric triage system designed by Mentaily to help prioritize mental health cases and support faster, smarter care.

At a time when demand for mental health services continues to surge, solutions like this are more than innovation, they’re essential infrastructure.

By enabling earlier assessment, smarter prioritization, and better-informed clinical decisions, this technology has the potential to transform how care is delivered at scale.

What stands out is the approach: not replacing clinicians, but empowering them. Supporting professionals with better data, faster insights, and more time to focus on what matters most, people.

Proud to see Israeli innovation once again pushing boundaries in one of the most critical areas of healthcare.

Excited to see where this goes next. 🚀

Learning From Nature to Build Better Nutrition

Nature has been perfecting materials for millions of years.
Some of the strongest shells and skeletons in the ocean are built using amorphous calcium, a form of calcium that is both stable and highly absorbable.

Amorphical is translating this natural process into human health.
By replicating the way marine organisms create amorphous calcium, the company developed a unique form of calcium with significantly higher bioavailability than conventional supplements.

In this video, Gerson Panitch interviews Eden Ben
