עם סיומה של שנת רזידנסי נוספת, אנחנו עוצרות לרגע בין סוף להתחלה - נפרדות מקבוצת אמנים אחת ומקבלות בברכה קבוצה חדשה. ולמרות זאת, זו לא באמת פרידה; האמנים שלנו נשארים חלק מרשת הבוגרים החיה של ארטפורט - משפחה שמתרחבת כל הזמן 🪴
נונפיניטו, התערוכה השנתית המסמנת את המעבר הזה, מהווה מרחב שבו קולותיהם של האמנים המסיימים ממשיכים להדהד, נטווים אל תוך הקצב של מה שעוד יגיע.
לקראת הסיור הקרוב שלו מחר, השבוע אנחנו מפנות את הזרקור אל אורי וויינשטיין ✨
העבודות של וויינשטיין נעות בין פיסול, תיאטרון וסאונד, שם חפצים יומיומיים מקבלים תפקידים של שחקנים, וסיפורים נולדים מתוך החומר עצמו. המיצבים שלו - מלנכוליים, מצחיקים ועמוקים באנושיותם - הופכים פריטים פשוטים לבמות שקטות של זיכרון וטקס.
בהשראת תרבות מקומית, שירים וסרטים, וויינשטיין מבקר את המוכר דרך מחוות של עדינות ואירוניה. רמקולים, נרות, שברי עץ ובד הופכים לכלים הנושאים קולות שמחזירים הד לעיר, לחיים, ולפיוט השברירי של השייכות.
בנונפיניטו, העבודות שלו אוספות עקבות מהרחובות שסביב ארטפורט - כוסות וודקה חד-פעמיות, תחפושת אריה, חליפה עצומה - שרידים קטנים מהיומיום שהופכים לעולם ומלואו 🌍

As another residency year comes to an end, we pause between endings and beginnings - saying goodbye to one group of artists while welcoming a new one into the studios. Though it’s never really a goodbye; our artists remain part of Artport’s living network, an ever-expanding family that keeps growing and evolving 🪴
NonFinito, the annual exhibition marking this transition, is both a closure and an opening, a space where the voices of our departing residents continue to resonate, weaving into the rhythm of what’s to come.
With his guided tour coming up tomorrow, this week we turn the spotlight to Uri Weinstein ✨
Weinstein’s work unfolds between sculpture, theater, and sound, where objects take on the roles of actors and stories emerge from materials themselves. His installations - at once melancholic, humorous, and deeply human - transform everyday items into quiet stages of memory and ritual.
Drawing from local culture, songs, and films, Weinstein revisits the familiar through gestures of care and irony. Speakers, candles, wooden fragments, and scraps of fabric become vessels for voices that echo the city’s rhythms, reflecting on masculinity, militarism, and the fragile poetry of belonging.
In NonFinito, his works gather traces from the streets surrounding Artport - disposable vodka cups, a lion costume, an enormous suit - small relics of daily life reimagined as an entire world 🌍
