Pujo chanda should come from happiness, not gunda-gardi.
Students already pay landlords 27,000–34,000 yearly just to survive and study in Agartala. Yet clubs dare to say — “Malik ko itna dete ho, humein 300 nahi de sakte? Nahi doge toh rent chhodo!”

👉 What a GUNDA-GIRI in the name of Pujo! 😣 You can’t fix 100, 200, or 300 for students — everyone should give what they can, from the heart.

That 300 is the landlord’s responsibility, not struggling students’. Parents sacrifice so much to send money for studies — stop adding to their burden.

Forcing students like this is harassment, and it must stop. 🚫

Back then, when slogans like “Tripurar Malik, Agartalar Malik – Bangali” were raised, no one objected. Not a word.

But today, when the true custodian of this land, our Bubagra Pradyot Kishore Manikya Bahadur Debbarma, ❤️ who, declares “Agartala is ours”—suddenly it becomes an issue. Why?

When we, the Bengali community, openly spoke of forming a Bengali Force to safeguard our existence and identity, there was no outrage then. Why not?

So why now, when the rightful heir of this soil speaks his truth, does it create discomfort?

History must not be forgotten. After 1947 partitions and (Bangladesh liberation war )1971, it was we—the sons of the soil— who gave your ancestors a place to rest, a chance to survive, and a land to call home.

And yet today, Tripura’s local media often chooses silence or negativity instead of showing the courage to highlight the truth.

History cannot be erased.🫶🏻🤗
