“Sadhana” Saptahik (weekly), published by “Sadhana Prakashan Trust”, is one of the most revered and widely read Gujarati weeklies. Read and contributed by most honoured men of letters, columnists, and analysts, “Sadhana” has been echoing the voice of the Gujarati readers across the globe since 1956.
આ પેજ પર મુકેલી દરેક રચનાના, પોસ્ટ કોઈને ઠેસ પહોચાડવા કે કોઇની લાગણી દુભાવવા માટે નથી. તેમ છતાં જે કોઈ રચનાઓ તેમજ તસ્વીરો બ્લોગ પોસ્ટ પર મૂકી છે, જેને કારણે અજાણતા પણ જો કોઇના અધિકારોનો ભંગ થયેલો કોઇને માલુમ પડે તો અમને જાણ કરવા વિનંતી, તે રચના કે પોસ્ટ સત્વરે પેજે પરથી દૂર કરવામા આવશે. સાધના સાપ્તાહિક ગુજરાતનું એક પ્રસિધ્ધ સામયિક છે. છેલ્લા ૬૧ વર્ષથી સાધના દર અઠવાડિયે અવિરત પ્રકાશિત થતું રહ્યું છે.
સાંસ્કૃતિક રાષ્ટ્રધર્મના ઉદઘોષક બની રહેવાની નેમ સાથે વર્ષ ૧૯૫૬ની વિજયાદશમીના દિવસે ‘સાધના સાપ્તાહિક’ની એક ગૌરવવંતી અણથક યાત્રા પ્રારંભ થઇ. સ્વાતંત્ર્ય પ્રાપ્તિ બાદ સમાચાર જગતમાં મૂલ્યનિષ્ઠાના બદલે વ્યવસાયની બોલબાલા વધતી ગઇ... આવા સમયે ધ્યેય સમર્પિત સામયિકો માટે ટકી રહેવુ અને સાથોસાથ વિકાસ સાધવો એ કાંટાળો માર્ગ બની ગયો હતો. ગુજરાતમાં અનેક લબ્ધપ્રતિષ્ઠિત સામયિકો બંધ પડ્યાં. નવા પ્રારંભ પણ થયા, પરંતુ ‘સાધના સાપ્તાહિક’ની સાધના અખંડ અને અવિરત આગળ ધપતી જ રહી. ગુજરાતની ભૂમિ ઉપર તેનો પ્રસાર અને પ્રભાવ સતત ફેલાતો જ ગયો.
