*Nirupam Upper Primary School at Aratinagar Inaugurated by CEM & MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma*

*Kamalanagar, June 5:* Following the inauguration of Udalthana-II Primary School, the Hon'ble CEM & MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma inaugurated the Nirupam Upper Primary School at Aratinagar today.

He was accompanied by Dg. Sanjib Chakma, Executive Member for Forest, Environment, and Climate Change Department of CADC, Dg. Santosh Chakma, MDC, CADC, Dg. Gyana Chandra Chakma, Education Officer, Primary School Education Department, Dg. Punya Jagat Talukdar, AEO, Middle School Education Department, CADC, Dg. Kulendra Bikash Chakma, I&PRO, and Dg. Kamal Chakma, AE, PWD, CADC.

The Hon'ble CEM & MLA and his team were warmly welcomed by the teaching staff and students of Nirupam Upper Primary School. Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma inaugurated the school building by cutting a ribbon. The school building was sanctioned in 2020 under the Community Development Program (NEC) with an amount of Rupees Thirty Lakh Eighty-Seven Thousand and One Hundred only.

A short program was organized at the new school building. During the program, Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma emphasized that the CADC authority often faces many problems due to delayed completion of project works, resulting in many schemes being stuck due to the continuation of funding flows.

He further stressed the current education scenario in CADC and urged the school teachers to perform their duties diligently. He quoted, "If a man is killed, it is a murder; if an entire village is killed, it is a massacre. If a teacher is not doing his duty, it is also not less than a massacre of students' future. I humbly request the teachers not to commit such a sin."

MDC Dg. Santosh Chakma also spoke at the event, appealing to the teachers' community to perform their duties diligently for the sake of the students.

Dg. Gyana Chandra Chakma, EO, PS Education, spoke about the importance of community participation in running the school administration. He urged the SMC and NGOs to actively participate in community efforts to make the mid-day meal scheme functional.

*CEM & MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma Inaugurates Udalthana-II Primary School Constructed Under NEC Scheme*

Kamalanagar, June 5: CEM & MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma inaugurated the Udalthana-II Primary School at Udalthana-II today.

The school building was sanctioned under the NEC Scheme. The inauguration program was attended by Dg. Sundar Muni Chakma, Dy. Chairman, Chakma ADC, Dg. Ananta Bikash Chakma, EM, Dg. Kalasoga Chakma, EM, Dg. Montu Chakma, EM, CADC, Dg. Santosh Chakma, MDC, Chakma ADC, Dg. Prema Ranjan Chakma, Leader, Dg. Gyana Chandra Chakma, EO, Primary School Education, Dg. Punya Jagat Talukdar, Assistant Education Officer, Middle School Education, CADC, Dg. Kulendra Bikash Chakma, I&PRO, CADC and local Village Council leaders of Udalthana-II.

A short programme was organized at the new school building.

Dg. Gyana Chandra Chakma, Education Officer, Primary School Education Department gave a brief report on how the school was constructed under the NEC Scheme and requested Dg. K. Kamal Chakma, Assistant Engineer, PWD, CADC, to present the technical report.

During the program, CEM & MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma stated that the old school building was in deplorable condition when he visited the school and he felt it necessary to propose the construction of a new building under the NEC Scheme.

He thanked the education department of Chakma ADC and the technical department for their excellent monitoring during the construction of the school building.

He requested the teaching staffs, Village Council Members and the SMC of Udalthana-II to take proper care of the school building to ensure that this asset lasts long.

Dg. Kalasoga Chakma, Executive Member of Chakma ADC stated that the responsibility of the government is to bring development and create infrastructure, while the responsibility of the public is to look after it with proper care.

He requested the village council members and the SMC of Udalthana-II to cooperate better with the teaching staffs to ensure the education system at the grassroots level runs smoothly for the welfare of the school children.

Dangu Rasik Mohan Chakma, Hon. MLA of 36-Tuichawng raised the issue of sufferings of the people living along the Indo-Bangla Border Fence, in the ongoing Mizoram State Assembly Session on 28th Feb. 2024. He also for the first time in the Mizoram Assembly Session raised the issue of division of Chakma Homeland CHT and annexation of a part of CHT including Demagiri area into South Lushai Hills by the British in 1894 that caused never ending suffering for the Chakmas till today. That is your Leader of Courage and Service.

Kamalanagar, the 15th Jan 2024:

In a major development in Chakma ADC politics, the Village Council President (VCP) Dangu Bidya Mangal Chakma along with the entire Village Council Committee of Kamalanagar-II have joined the MNF party (ruling party) today.

Dangu Samir Tongchangya, Advisor to the District MNF in the presence of Dangu Kalasoga Chakma, GS-Org. & EM, has accepted the joining on behalf of the District President. District President, Dangu Purna Chandra Chakma is on home rest due to ill health.

Aizawl, the 15th Jan. 2024:

A team of Councilors of Chakma ADC called on Dangu Dr. Vanlalthlana, Minister, Education etc. in his office at Mizoram Secretariat. Dangu Lakkhan Chakma, EM, LAD etc. and Dangu Hemanta Larma, MDC had an elaborate discussion with the Honourable Minister. While discussing about the School Infrastructure in Chakma ADC, the team has apprised the Minister about the dilapidated condition of many schools due to natural disaster and old age. The Hon. Minister agreed to take up the matter with concerned officials with emphasis on school building that require urgent repair or reconstruction. The Minister requested the visiting team to submit a detail report through the concerned officials.

Many other subjects were discussed including appointment of Language Teachers in Chakma ADC. The meeting concluded with an assurance by the Minister his full cooperation and support.

Kamalanagar, 14th Jan. 2024:

Continuing it's vision of "Peoples First", the Chakma ADC Govt. has started fresh work of expansion and development of WRC Land under the scheme sponsored by NEC.

Starting with Devasora North under Vaseitlang Cost., the WRC Land development work will cover entire Chakma ADC in various phases. The auspicious people's development work at the outset of the new year is a good indicator for the days and years to come for the people of Chakma ADC.
The ground breaking work began in the presence of Dangu Kalasoga Chakma, EM, Land & Revenue etc. who is also the local MDC. He was accompanied by department officials.

The 9th Jan. 2024, Aizawl:
A Team of Leaders from the Chakma ADC met with Dangu B. Lalrinhlua, the Director of Economics and Statistics, Govt. Of Mizoram at the office of the Mizoram Economics and Statistics Dept. in Aizawl. The visiting Leaders had a fruitful discussion on various subjects including Registrar of Birth & Death, Livelihood Statistics and Economic Survey for the inclusion of the people of Chakma ADC in the Livelihood policies and schemes to be prepared by Govt. Of Mizoram and the Central Government.
The visiting Leaders namely Dangu Kalasoga Chakma- EM, Dangu Lakkhan Chakma- EM, Dangu Sundormuni Chakma- Dy. Chairman and Dangu Hemanta Larma- MDC of Chakma ADC urged the Director to make Facilitation Centres available to the public, specially the needy families of Chakma ADC. There is a dire need to establish new RBD Centres in the ADC so that maximum people could access the facilities it offers. New RBD Centres in many places including Devasora North, Vaseitlang-II and Ludhisora have been pending for years have been approved from the Chief Minister's Office to be processed by the District RBD.

Hon. Chief Executive Member of Chakma ADC & MLA, Mizoram Dangi Rasik Mohan Chakma along with a team of Leaders called on DC & MA Minister Dangu C. Lalsawivunga at his office in Mizoram Secretariat.
Dangu CEM congratulated the Hon. Minister for assuming the new Ministership for DC & MA, LAD etc. and wished him the best for New Year 2024 & beyond. The two Leaders discussed many issues and subjects including Centrally Sponsored Schemes like PMJVK, Livelihood

Programmes, Skill Training on Agri-preneurship, BIZU as State Fest. and Chakma ADC Politics. The Hon. Minister assured the Hon. CEM and his team his full cooperation and impartial support for the overall development of Chakma ADC and Mizoram at large. The Hon. Minister briefed the visiting Team on the vision of ZPM led by Hon. Chief Minister Dangu Lalduhoma for inclusive growth of Mizoram and it's people.

Kamalanagar, 14th Dec. 2023:
Hon. MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma arrives at Kamalanagar with a rousing welcome.
After becoming an MLA Dg. Rasik Mohan Chakma who also holds the post of CEM has returned to the CADC Capital Kamalanagar, where people lined up to welcome him with flowers and thunderous jigir. He was first accorded a warm welcome at the Secretariat Office premises by various department officials and later at the MNF District Headquarters.

MNF District President, Dg. Purna Chandra Chakma along with hundreds of party workers, Village council leaders and MDCs received Dangu MLA at the District Hqrs. Office in a special programme organised in his honour. While speaking at the programme Dangu MLA expressed his gratitude towards all the public, party workers and leaders who worked tirelessly for winning the 36 Tuichawng MLA seat. He further said "I wish the new Govt. lead by the ZPM party a great success and assure full cooperation towards achieving an inclusive and developed Mizoram. I hope the new State Govt. live upto the promises made during and before the assembly election. I dedicate my Win to the people of CADC and will set aside an amount from the MLA LAD fund for State level Bizu Miloni towards preserving and promoting Chakma culture and identity. This initiative is being taken in collaboration with MLA Dangubi Prova Chakma and will continue till suitable arrangement is made through either State Or Central Govt". He also stressed on the need to lead and govern the Chakma ADC with integrity, honesty and stability.
