Krafton picked “Light” on purpose, a different word from the old “Lite”. Spoken out loud, they sound identical.
Even the announcement video’s auto-captions wrote it as “Lite”, which spread the mix-up further. So if you see “Lite” in a headline about a 2026 launch, it almost always means the new Light app.
