നിങ്ങൾക്ക്എതിരെ ആരെങ്കിലും കോടതിയിൽ പോകുന്നതിനു മുൻപ് ഇതറിയുക !!
നിയമത്തിൽ “Caveat” (കേവിയറ്റ്) എന്നത് ഒരു മുന്നറിയിപ്പ് അപേക്ഷയാണ്.
ഒരു വ്യക്തി കോടതിയിൽ caveat ഫയൽ ചെയ്യുന്നത്, “എന്നെ കേൾക്കാതെ ഈ കേസിൽ ഒരു ഉത്തരവും പാസാക്കരുത്” എന്ന ആവശ്യത്തോടെയാണ്.

ഉദാഹരണത്തിന്:

* ആരെങ്കിലും നിങ്ങളെതിരെ injunction/order വാങ്ങാൻ പോകുന്നു എന്ന് സംശയമുണ്ടെങ്കിൽ
* അവർ കോടതി വഴി ex-parte order (നിങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കാതെ കിട്ടുന്ന ഉത്തരവ്) എടുക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ

നിങ്ങൾ മുൻകൂട്ടി caveat ഫയൽ ചെയ്യാം.

ലളിതമായി:

Caveat = “എന്നെയും കേട്ടതിന് ശേഷമേ കോടതി തീരുമാനം എടുക്കാവൂ” എന്ന നിയമപരമായ മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്.

ഇന്ത്യയിൽ:

ഇത് സാധാരണയായി CPC Section 148A പ്രകാരമാണ് ഫയൽ ചെയ്യുന്നത്.

Caveat ഫയൽ ചെയ്താൽ:

* എതിര്‍ഭാഗം കേസ് ഫയൽ ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങളെ notice ചെയ്യണം
* കോടതി നിങ്ങളെ കേൾക്കാതെ ഉടൻ order പാസാക്കാൻ പാടില്ല
