Dr. Mustafa Masihuddin Siddiqui is an Assistant Professor at the Institute for the Study of University Pedagogy, University of Toronto, Canada. Recently, his experimental “Back-to-the-90s” class has been receiving significant media attention in Canada. During his interview with , he thanked Aligarh Muslim University for helping him become a better university teacher.

Dr. Siddiqui completed his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the Department of English, AMU (2007–2015). He was also a gold medalist in his Master’s program.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय ओपन वाटर तैराक एएमयू की पूर्व छात्रा आफरीन जाबी ने पाल्क स्ट्रेट को मात्र सात घंटे पांच मिनट में पार कर ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि हासिल की है। इसे अब तक का सबसे तेज पाल्क स्ट्रेट तैराकी अभियान माना जा रहा है।

सात घंटा पांच मिनट में तैर कर पार किया पाल्क स्ट्रेट

पश्चिम बंगाल के मिदनापुर की रहने वाली आफरीन जाबी ने श्रीलंका से शनिवार सुबह ने 4.30 बजे तैरना शुरू किया था। दोपहर करीब 11.30 बजे धनुष कोटि (तमिलनाडु) पहुंची। यह करीब 30 किमी का समुद्री रास्ता है। इस सफर में उनकी मां सबीना परवीन और पिता शेख पियार अली वोट पर साथ में थे। अपनी मेहनत, संघर्ष और दृढ़ संकल्प के दम पर यह मुकाम हासिल किया।

माता और पिता को समर्पित की उपलब्धि

आफरीन जाबी ने कहा कि छोटे शहर की एक लड़की का विश्व रिकॉर्ड बनाना इस बात का प्रमाण है कि मजबूत इरादों के सामने कोई भी चुनौती बड़ी नहीं होती। आफरीन ने अपनी इस ऐतिहासिक उपलब्धि को अपने माता-पिता को समर्पित करते हुए कहा कि उनकी सफलता के पीछे माता-पिता का त्याग, विश्वास और समर्पण सबसे बड़ी ताकत रहा है। आफरीन के भाई आदिल मोहम्मद ने बताया कि अब वह एएमयू में पढ़ाई नहीं कर रही है। भाई आदिल मोहम्मद ने बताया कि अब वह एएमयू की छात्रा नहीं है। बंगाल में पढ़ाई कर रही है।

देर रात मेडिकल कॉलेज की इमरजेंसी में तीमारदार और डॉक्टर के बीच में हुआ था हंगामा.

हिंदुस्तान के सभी सरकारी अस्पतालों में से AMU के मेडिकल कॉलेज में सबसे ज्यादा हड़ताल होती है जिसकी वजह से दूर-दराज से आने वाले मरीजों को इलाज करवाने में परेशानियों का सामना करना पड़ता है। JNMC में हड़ताल से प्राइवेट अस्पतालों की चांदी हो जाती है।
