Awareness Program on Sexual Harassment.
Sexual harassment results in violation of the fundamental rights of a woman to equality under articles 14 and 15 of the Constitution of lndia and her right to life and to live with dignity under article 21 of the Constitution and the right to practice any profession or to carry on any occupation, trade or business which includes a right to a safe environment free from sexual harassment. The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 is legislative act that seeks to protect women from sexual harassment at their place of work. The Internal Complaints Committee / Women's Grievances' Cell of HRI organised an awareness workshop on September 13, 2017 at 3:30 pm, to help the HRI community understand issues related to sexual harassment and the provisions for its prevention, prohibition and redressal, under this Act.

by Ms. Renu Mishra. Ms Mishra is the Executive Director of Association for Advocacy and Legal Initiatives (AALI, a women's right organisation), is a lawyer and human rights activist who has been active in the field of women's empowerment for about two decades. Ms. Mishra is dedicated towards effecting structural change for the promotion and protection of women's human rights and acts as technical member and consultant to several national networks as well as State Departments. In 2016 her contribution to the women's movement in Uttar Pradesh was recognized and honoured by the State Government. In 2014 she was presented with the Hindustan Times Woman of the Year Award for her work on women's empowerment.]
