Anil Agrawal Author, Historian, Thinker, Ideologue and Writer I was born and brought up in Allahabad, now Prayagraj. Prayagraj is great pilgrimage centre.

The city is situated on the confluence of river Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati. It is in fact, the king of pilgrimages in India. Geographically it is in the state of Uttar Pradesh of Northern India- one of the 28 constitutional state units of federal India. Born in the family of entrepreneurs my father took teaching as a profession. He was a English Professor at University of Allahabad. He t

aught American literature. In 1964 he was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship and went to United States of America for further studies. He taught at the University and wrote exhaustively on Mark Twain, Robert Frost and many American writers and scholars. He was married in 1952. My mother belongs to Tamilnadu state, the southern most state of India. Her father too was a businessman, most especifically a hotelier- business spreading across Chennai and Bangalore. She was a housewife who’s love for her husband was intense and pious. Myself, I did my post -graduation in 1977 in Modern History. Immediately thereafter I took to Journalism, writing for periodicals and dailys. In 1984 I laid the foundation of my publishing house- ‘Manthan Prakashan’. Under the banner, I started a monthly magazine ‘Pariksha Manthan’- catering to the examination needs of civil service aspirants. A preparatory magazine for students opting for Civil Services in India. The magazine still being published. Meanwhile up till now I have also published more than fifty books in Hindi and English for civil services aspirants. I was blessed with a son in 1987, who later became a Civil Judge. He did not relish his job and later resigned as Civil Judge. He got a Chancellor’s Gold medal in Jurisprudence in 2014. My passion for independent writing was always very much there along side my publishing occupation. I’m right from 1984 struggling with Schizophrenia and fought bravely, took it headon and I finally chased my long standing disease. Then came Covid, which for me was a Blessing in Disguise. This pandemic chased millions but I was on my strong feet without fears. Covid gave me an opportunity to grow. I am an author of two published books:
1. "The Impeccable Self" Published by Notion Press.
2. "Life Lessons ( A Schizophrenian File )" Published by Olympia Publishers, London.
