Mughal emperor Akbar launched this coin on the occasion of completion of 50 years of his rule. On one side of the coin is written Ram-Siya in Devanagari script along with their picture. On the other side of the coin is written امرداد یلاهی 50 (50th anniversary) in Persian. Those who call Akbar anti-Hindu because of his war with Maharana Pratap, this coin is enough to tell that Akbar was anti-government and not anti-religion. He gave preference to Hindus over Muslims in his court. Akbar gave positions and mansabs on the basis of ability for administrative work.
