Indian minorities federation pays rich tributes to the martyrs of the pahalgam terror attack , the program commenced with an interfaith delegation at Pahalgam Kashmir , where spiritual leaders from different religions participated and joind the program. Rajya Sabha Member Satnam Singh Sandhu , bollywood actor Mukesh Reshi and actress Preeti Sapru and other social and religious personalities were present on the occasion. مہاتیرمحمد انگلینڈ کے دورے پر گئے۔ صبح ایک مقامی اخبار میں ان کا مزاحیہ کارٹون چھپ گیا۔
جب ان کی سرکاری طور پر وزیراعظم برطانیہ سے ملاقات ہوئی تو سب سے پہلے مہاتیرمحمد نے کارٹون ٹیبل پر رکھ کر پوچھا:
"کیا برطانیہ میں مہمان کے استقبال کا یہ طریقہ ہے؟"
انگلینڈ کے وزیراعظم نے کہا:
"یہاں میڈیا آزاد ہے۔"
مہاتیر محمد نے جواب دیا:
"ٹھیک ہے جب تم میڈیا کی آزادی اور دوسروں کی دل آزاری میں تمیز سیکھ لو تو پھر ہماری ملاقات ہو گی۔"
ملاقات ختم کر دی گئی۔
وہاں سے ملیشیا اپنے آفس فون کیا کہ ان کے پہنچنے سے پہلے انگلینڈ کے باشندوں کے ملیشیا میں موجود کاروبار فورا" بند کر دیے جائیں اور اکاؤنٹ سیل کر دئے جائیں اور انگریزوں کو 24 گھنٹے کے اندر اندر ملیشیا سے بدر کر دیا جائے۔
حکم پر فوری عمل ہوا۔
جب مہاتیر محمد ملیشیا پہنچا تو ان کے دفتر میں انگلینڈ کے وزیراعظم کا معافی نامہ ان سے پہلے پہنچ گیا تھا ساتھ ہی کارٹونسٹ کو پابند جیل کر دیا گیا۔

In continuation to week long vigilance awareness proramme themed “ Vigilance- our Shared Responsibility” *RDD* department of district anantnag today on 29.10.2025 participated in the awareness event at the Conference Hall dak bunglow anantnag.

*ACD anantnag shafiq wani JKAS, CPO ACB khurshid satari,XN REW rubina kousar , professor bilal from womens degree college ang, rao farman malik civil society member, lecturer ifshana Mukhtar among other dignitaries attended the programme .*

The event witnessed participation of BDOs , engineers of REW, panchayat secretaries & GRS of district anantnag, students , civil society , traders federation and media persons.

The programme began with the Integrity Pledge followed by a series of documentaries, case studies , guest lectures , interactive question answer sessions and feedback questionnaire from the audience.

The event proceedings were hosted by *Dr mudasser tramboo* ( Dy SP ACB South kashmir)

The event concluded successfully with a vote of thanks .

Anantnag Police Apprehends Impersonator Posing as Senior Police Officer

Anantnag, October 24:
Police Station Kokernag today foiled an attempt of impersonation after a naka party of Police Station Kokernag apprehended a suspicious individual during routine checking.
The individual, identified as Mohd Umer Mochi S/O Mohd Jamal Mochi R/O Zalangam, was intercepted while carrying a bag. On noticing the police party, the suspect attempted to flee from the spot but was tactfully apprehended by the police personnel.
During the search of his bag, a police uniform bearing the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police was recovered. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused was allegedly using the uniform to impersonate a senior police officer with an intent to deceive the general public.
In this connection, Case FIR No. 118/2025 under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Kokernag, and further investigation is underway.
District Police Anantnag assures the public that strict action shall be taken against those attempting to impersonate police/civil officers or exploit public trust. Citizens are advised to remain vigilant and report any such suspicious activities to the nearest police station immediately.
