*Anees Ul Islam Appointed JKNC Anantnag District Secretary Till Next Party Elections*
Jammu and Kashmir National Conference has appointed Anees Ul Islam as the party's District Secretary for Anantnag with immediate effect, according to an order issued by District President Altaf Ahmad Wani on Monday.

The order states that the incumbent District Secretary, Advocate Suhail Ahmad Beig, is presently unavailable for party engagements due to personal reasons.

“In view of the same,” the order says, Anees Ul Islam has been appointed as District Secretary, JKNC Anantnag, with immediate effect.

His appointment will remain in force until the next party elections, according to the order dated August 17, 2026.

Copies of the order have been forwarded to the General Secretary, JKNC, and the Provincial President, JKNC Kashmir, for information.
