Hrithik Roshan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and director Rakesh Roshan behind the scenes of Karan Arjun (1995). This rare moment captures the camaraderie and fun on set, as Hrithik, then just 17, worked as an assistant director, observing two of Bollywood’s biggest stars in action.
Hrithik once shared his experience, recalling how he and Rakesh Roshan’s other assistant, Anurag, screened the film print at Minerva theatre before the release. To their shock, the visuals appeared dark and dull. A quick fix? Washing the entire theatre screen!
Another fun memory from the shoot was during Bhangda Paale. Late at night, a spirited Shah Rukh and Salman decided to drive to Delhi, promising to return by morning. Hrithik, taken aback, could only watch in awe.
For young Hrithik, witnessing SRK and Salman’s performances firsthand was like attending the best acting school. Little did he know, years later, he would share screen space with both and become a superstar himself.
