Closure of SMVD medical college a bold step
...Great and Bold step by NMC.........same action needs to be taken on the so called New GMCs...Seven in number.....they don't deserve more than 50 MBBS seats/year....MD is the highest degree in Medical Science....the sanctity of this degree and SS should be maintained by keeping these degrees at SKIMS/Super speciality Jammu and GMC Srinagar/Jammu.....other infant institutions should be given National Board Diploma in a few branches,so that passouts work in field at grass root level...seven new GMCs are fit for BSc Nursing and Diplomas in a few branches for specialisation....Let good sense prevail with the NMC stakeholders...and take an action like SMVD institute to allot 50 UGs per college,including ASCOMS and JVC,AIIMS Vijapur=500+......100 seats for GMC Jammu and Srinagar each.....this will amount to manufacturing 700 docs/year.....more than enough..... senior bureaucrats were heard of starting DM/Mch in District Hospitals 😂😂😂, turned GMCs,just by changing the board.....our politicians, concerned,are far less qualified to decide these things....God give very good sense to NMC to come for the rescue of Medical education,that has already been degraded and destroyed by Reserved Category candidates and Faculty....Field doctors, working as consultants,to be inducted as Faculty,would be The mistake of Millineum..... tomorrow,all of us, including bureaucrats and politicians will be treated by these doctors....so let us get back the sheen of this profession,by producing quality medics and paramedics by reducing the intake by 60% and abolishing the Reserved Category System.....Hajoome Gam Meri Fitrat Badal Nahi Sakta...Main Kya Karoon,Mujhe Aadat Hai Muskurane Ki....Chillanne Ki Aur Sach Batane Ki......I have been writing,speaking about saving of Medical profession and against Reserved Category,now,for more than a decade........... Our Politicians and people at stake may continue with Pooon Pooon, Photoshoot and Ribbon cutting....whether your computer,located in the head, biggest gift from Allah,comprehends it or not.....still then,from JK 03....Teh Vyth Rozeh Pakaan 🌹💞🙏....
