My last trip of 2025 was a quiet wish that was fulfilled tenfolds.

Mumbai, like I’ve never seen before. Staying at OMG the food was to die for and the view was gorgeous everywhere. Service - impeccable!!!

Bandra on a Christmas eve, views that make you take a deep breath every time you think about them, perfect Siddhivinayak temple visits early in the morning, visiting the Mahalaxmi temple for the first time and just the most stunning view!!

I started a fun β€˜9 days 9 drinks’ series on 1st December wherein I’ll be trying a new drink each day leading up to my birthday on 9th December. I’ve had this can for more than a week now so it made sense to finally pop it open as a celebratory start.

𝐀𝐁𝐕: ~ 5%
π’π©πžπœπ’πšπ₯𝐒𝐭𝐲: Made from malted barley and hops imported from Europe and the USA depending on the quality of the harvest through a very specific selection process that gives Chang its full-bodied flavor, light golden appearance and lend the brew its bitter, floral and citrus notes.

𝐌𝐲 𝟐 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
🍻 It’s a generic lager with maybe a hint of citrus but nothing that lingers on. It’s a refreshing drink overall but I wouldn’t say it’s anything that we haven’t tasted before.

🍻 The nose is light and slightly fruity-citrus. Very light on the carbonation. Gives a happy high which is fine considering it’s ABV is low.

🍻 Their website says that it tastes best chilled so that’s how I drank it (not a good idea on a winter evening) and I can honestly see myself enjoying this on a hot day in Thailand. But given the choice here in India, I’ll definitely skip it for a Budweiser or a Bira Summer Lager.

A gorgeous pale lager - crisp, refreshing, with a rich flavour from the hops.

𝐀𝐁𝐕: 5%
π’π©πžπœπ’πšπ₯𝐒𝐭𝐲: made from 100% premium malt and barley. The world's finest Saaz hops from Germany. Slow-brewed with the purest Thai spring water.

𝐌𝐲 𝟐 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: If it wasn’t clear yet, I LOVE it!!!

🍻It’s light and fresh on the palate and has a crisp after taste that lingers on to make you crave for more.

🍻The rich flavour makes it a good beer to continue having into the winter.

🍻Pretty decent high that’s just right for a lager.

I would definitely pick it up again and again! Found it in Noida for β‚Ή230 a pint.

π–π¨π¨ππ©πžπœπ€πžπ« π‚π«πžπ¬π­ - 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 π–π‘πžπšπ­ 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐫

In my quest for interesting beer finds, came across this one at the

𝐀𝐁𝐕: < 8%
π’π©πžπœπ’πšπ₯𝐒𝐭𝐲: a product of SOM Distilleries & Breweries Ltd, it is said to be India’s first filtered wheat beer. Although it could be their Lager that’s more popular. This beer is brewed using the finest South American wheat malts and German alfa hops to get the right texture, finesse, and aroma.

𝐌𝐲 𝟐 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
🍻 It’s a simple beer that pairs well with spicy food. Why I say that - because I had this with spicy chicken curry and it was a delightful combination. πŸ˜‹

🍻The nose is light and slightly fruity - an almost apple-like fruitiness - with a subtle hint of grain.

🍻Feels a little heavier than your usual strong beers so I # imagine myself having more than 3 with food on anlong night. On a chill night with light snacks, this would give a nice long-lasting buzz.

The most nostalgic moments are when I crave the food of my travels back at home. ⁣

I planned this for a small brunch gathering but it turned out to be the most unexpected surprise for myself ❀️ The presentation just blew my mind 🀩⁣

They also have Grazing Tables with cheese, gourmet dips, crackers, and desserts. Planning the platter was easy and they really helped me curate the right box for my need. The entire experience was smooth and hassle free with the most delectable results. ⁣Needless to say, I had only smiles and satisfied taste buds all around!!
