In Loving Memory of Our Beloved Enoz Mai ❤️🕊️
Whenever we walked through your door,
you welcomed us with that beautiful smile
and your loving question, “Kaso asa?”
It was such a simple question,
but behind those words was a heart
that truly wanted to know if we were okay.
You worried about all of us—
about our health, our homes, our troubles,
the repairs that needed to be done,
the cars and bikes, and every little thing in our lives.
Nothing was ever too small for you to notice,
because when you loved someone,
you cared about everything that mattered to them.
Our troubles became your troubles.
Our worries found a place in your heart.
And when things were going well,
your face would light up with happiness.
You never needed anything for yourself—
seeing your family happy and doing well
was enough to make you happy.
Every grandchild and every great-grandchild
held a special place in your heart.
You celebrated their little achievements,
their happiness and their growing lives,
as though each one were your own joy.
And you never made anyone feel like an outsider.
You welcomed every daughter-in-law,
every son-in-law, every new member of the family
with the same warmth and affection.
You made us feel that we belonged.
Your advice was always given with love.
Your blessings were never far away.
And somehow, just hearing your words
made everything feel a little easier.
Today, the house may feel quieter
and our hearts feel a little heavier.
We will miss walking in and hearing your voice,
we will miss your questions, your advice,
your concern, your smile,
and most of all, we will miss you.
But the love you gave us did not leave with you.
It remains in every memory,
in every story we tell,
in every blessing we remember,
and in the family you loved so deeply.
You spent your life worrying about us,
caring for us and praying for our happiness.
Now it is our turn to carry your love forward
and keep your memory alive.
Rest peacefully, our dear Enoz Mai.
May God welcome you into His loving arms
and reward you for the love you gave so freely.
And when we look at our children,
our grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
we will remember the woman
who was always happiest simply
to see her family happy.
Your smile may be gone from our sight,
but it will forever remain in our hearts.
Your voice may be silent,
but your blessings will stay with us.
Your hands may no longer hold ours,
but your love will guide us always.
