कधी नव्हे ते पावसाचं असंच काहीसं झालं...
कोरापुटच्या एका लहानशा गावात मी एका आदिवासी महिलेला भेटलो. ती सांगत होती – 'अवकाळी पावसामुळे काजू, आंबा, फणस आणि आमचं सर्व वन उपज सडून गेलं... आता काय करायचं?'
हे फक्त पिकांचं नुकसान नाही... संपूर्ण गावाचं आर्थिक चक्र थांबलंय. मार्केट मध्ये ठोक विक्रेते अगदी कमी भावातही माल विकत घेत नाही आहेत, सरकारचं लक्ष नाही.
जे जंगलाचे रक्षणकर्ते आहेत, त्यांचीच उपजीविका तीव्र हवामान बदलामुळे धोक्यात आली आह.
