**Exposed wiring above the shower—is this safe?** ⚡🚿

My landlord recently had some building work done, and the shower was refitted. It has been left like this for several weeks, so I’m starting to think they don’t plan on fixing or covering it.

The wiring is exposed directly above the shower head, which doesn’t seem safe or normal to me. Is this acceptable, or should I contact the landlord and ask for a qualified electrician to inspect it?

Can someone explain what this black cable with red tape is for? ⚡

It appears to be capped or taped off inside the panel, and I don’t see any wires coming out of it. Is it likely an unused conductor, or is there another reason it would be left this way?

Is this wired correctly? ⚡

I’m changing my dryer cord from a three-prong plug to a four-prong plug. Am I correct that the green ground wire should attach to the grounding screw on the left?

I want to make sure everything is connected safely before using the dryer. Thanks in advance!

What do these indicator lights mean? ⚡

I’m just an average homeowner and know enough to be dangerous. The two outer LEDs are glowing orange, while the middle red LED is off. Does that indicate a problem, or is this the correct reading?

The wall outlet that the power strip is plugged into shows the same light pattern. Any help would be appreciated!
