Tiny-but-mighty: Monarch butterflies make one of the largest insect migrations in the world!

Their journey spans an incredible 2,500 miles 😲

Throughout their migration, they play a crucial role in pollination.

However, climate change, deforestation, and land conversion have hit them hard. In just 20 years, we’ve seen an alarming 80% population decline.

We must band together to protect this essential and amazing species.

𝙎𝙥𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙤𝙣𝙠𝙚𝙮 are New World monkeys belonging to the genus Ateles, part of the subfamily Atelinae, family Atelidae. Like other atelines, they are found in tropical forests of Central and South America, from southern Mexico to Brazil. The genus consists of seven species, all of which are under threat; the brown spider monkey is critically endangered. They are also notable for their ability to be easily bred in captivity.

The lion-tailed macaque (Macaca silenus), also known as the wanderoo, is an Old World monkey endemic to the Western Ghats of South India.
Lion-tailed macaques have black hair. It is easily recognised by its silver-white mane that surrounds the head from the cheeks down to its chin. Its face has no hair and is black in colour. Head to body length is about 61 cm and weighs about upto 10 kg, making it one of the smallest among the macaques species.

𝘿𝙞𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙖𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙈𝙊𝙐𝙎𝙀 𝘿𝙀𝙀𝙍?

Chevrotains, or mouse-deer, are diminutive, even-toed ungulates that make up the family Tragulidae, and are the only living members of the infraorder Tragulina. The extant species are found in forests in South and Southeast Asia; a single species, the water chevrotain, is found in the rainforests of Central and West Africa.
They are solitary, or live in loose groupings or pairs, and feed almost exclusively on plant material. Chevrotains are the 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙃𝙤𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙙 𝙈𝙖𝙢𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙨 in the world.

Despite their common name of "mouse deer", they are not closely related to 𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙚 𝙙𝙚𝙚𝙧.

Mexican red-knee tarantulas are generally docile and do not harm humans. However, when threatened, they can shoot their urticating hairs for defense, which can cause irritation. Their bite, while venomous, is not fatal and can cause pain equivalent to a bee or wasp sting.
Mexican redknee tarantulas are a popular choice as pets among tarantula keepers. Many earlier sources referring to B. smithi either relate to B. hamorii or do not distinguish between the two species. B. smithi is a terrestrial tarantula native to Pacific coast of the Mexican state of Guerrero.
