Block Diwas held at Village Dharat, Tehsil Nowshera under the Chairmanship of ADC Nowshera**
Nowshera, June 03: Block Diwas was today organised at Village Dharat of Tehsil Nowshera under the chairmanship of Dr. Pritam Lal Thapa, JKAS, Additional Deputy Commissioner Nowshera. The programme witnessed active participation from officers of various line departments, PRI members, local residents and prominent citizens of the area.
During the programme, the ADC interacted with the public and listened to various issues and demands projected by the residents pertaining to basic amenities and developmental works in the area. The issues mainly related to road connectivity, water supply, electricity, health services, revenue matters and welfare schemes.
Dr. Pritam Lal Thapa assured the public that all genuine issues and demands raised during the programme would be taken up with the concerned departments for their timely redressal. He directed the officers present on the occasion to work in close coordination and ensure prompt disposal of public grievances.
The ADC also reviewed the implementation status of various Government schemes and developmental programmes being executed in the area. He emphasized upon the officers to maintain regular field visits and ensure that the benefits of welfare schemes reach every eligible beneficiary at the grassroots level.
The local residents appreciated the administration for organizing Block Diwas at their doorstep and expressed satisfaction over the public outreach initiative.
Among others, officers from various departments, PRI representatives and local inhabitants were present during the programme.
