Mahakaleshwar jyotirlinga Darshan

Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (महाकालेश्वर ज्योतिर्लिंग मंदिर) is one of the most revered Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. It is among the twelve Jyotirlingas, which are considered the holiest abodes of Shiva.

The Shivling is worshipped with sacred ash (bhasma), which is a unique and powerful ritual.

Devotees must register online or offline in advance to attend this Aarti.

🏛 Temple Structure

Built in five levels, with one underground level where the Jyotirlinga is situated.

The temple has a blend of Maratha, Bhumija, and Chalukya architectural styles.

The current structure was renovated in the 18th century by the Maratha ruler Ranoji Shinde.

WORLD HERITAGE SITE KHAJURAHO

Khajuraho भारत के मध्यप्रदेश राज्य के छतरपुर ज़िले में स्थित एक प्रसिद्ध ऐतिहासिक और धार्मिक स्थल है।

निर्माण काल – यह मंदिर समूह 9वीं से 11वीं शताब्दी के बीच चंदेल वंश के शासकों द्वारा बनवाया गया था।

खासियत – यहाँ के मंदिर अपनी अनोखी और बारीक शिल्पकला और कामसूत्र-प्रेरित मूर्तियों के लिए विश्व प्रसिद्ध हैं।

विश्व धरोहर – यूनेस्को ने Khajuraho Temples को World Heritage Site का दर्जा दिया है।

मंदिर समूह – यहाँ लगभग 85 मंदिर बने थे, जिनमें से अब लगभग 20 मंदिर शेष हैं। ये तीन समूहों में विभाजित हैं – पश्चिमी समूह, पूर्वी समूह और दक्षिणी समूह।

मुख्य मंदिर – कंदारिया महादेव मंदिर, लक्ष्मण मंदिर, विश्वनाथ मंदिर, और देवी जगदंबी मंदिर यहाँ के प्रमुख आकर्षण हैं।

कलात्मक महत्व – मंदिरों की दीवारों पर उकेरी गई मूर्तियाँ केवल कामुकता ही नहीं बल्कि सामाजिक जीवन, युद्ध, संगीत, नृत्य और आध्यात्मिकता को भी दर्शाती हैं।

आधुनिक पहचान – हर साल यहाँ खजुराहो नृत्य महोत्सव आयोजित होता है, जिसमें देश-विदेश के शास्त्रीय नृत्य कलाकार भाग लेते हैं।
