A HUMBLE APPEAL FOR OUR BELOVED ATREYEE DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL AND BETTER BALURGHAT
Over the last few years, Atreyee DAV Public School has witnessed a remarkable transformation.
Under the leadership of respected Principal Mr. Sandip Sarkar, noticeable changes have taken place in the institution. The improvement in discipline, academic environment and Board examination results has been widely appreciated by parents, students, alumni and well-wishers.
Many parents have witnessed a visible positive difference in the school life and development of their children.
Recently, another proud milestone came before us: the institution is moving towards being upgraded as a DAV Model Public School.
This is not merely a proud moment for the school. It is a matter of immense pride for Balurghat, Dakshin Dinajpur and the entire North Bengal region.
Behind every successful transformation, strong leadership plays a crucial role.
A significant part of the credit for the progress and positive changes witnessed in recent years undoubtedly goes to the dedication, vision and relentless hard work of our respected Principal, Mr. Sandip Sarkar.
But at this crucial stage, the sudden news of his transfer to Asansol has raised serious concerns among parents, students, alumni and well-wishers.
After witnessing such positive progress over the past 3 to 4 years, one question naturally arises:
Why should a successful journey be interrupted at such a crucial stage?
When an institution is progressing towards a bigger milestone, continuity of capable leadership becomes extremely important.
We sincerely appeal to the DAV management and concerned authorities to reconsider this decision.
We also respectfully request the attention and support of our respected public representatives, including Hon'ble Shri Sukanta Majumdar, Union Minister of State and Member of Parliament from Balurghat, and Hon'ble Shri Suvendu Adhikari,Chief Minister of West Bengal, along with all concerned representatives and education authorities.
This is not about politics.
This is about education.
This is about the future of hundreds of children.
This is about continuity of good leadership.
This is about protecting the positive transformation that has already begun.
If a captain is successfully steering a ship towards a better destination, should he not be given the opportunity to continue the journey?

We humbly request the DAV Institution and all concerned authorities to reconsider the transfer of Mr. Sandip Sarkar and allow him to continue his valuable leadership at Atreyee English Medium School.
