💀 This week's "Minding the Gap": The SEC & CFTC have gone full skeleton crew (and not in a fun Halloween way)

With the shutdown of the U.S. federal government, the Securities and Exchange Commission () and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) have released guidance on operations.

Here's some key facts:
👥 The SEC is operating with only 393 of 4,289 employees
✅ The EDGAR system remains operational
⬇️ Just 31 of 543 CFTC staff members are retained
