Iram Ashraf of Class 10th, Rana AGS Hajin, successfully participated in the YTS+ Summer Camp at Palaksha University, Mohali, under the guidance of the Bharti Foundation Team from 23-05-2026 to 07-06-2026.

The student has successfully completed her innovative research project titled "Sustainable Building from Algae Facade" with flying colours, displaying exceptional creativity, scientific temperament, and commitment towards sustainable development. Her remarkable performance throughout the programme has brought pride and recognition to the institution.

It is a matter of great honour that she was only girl among four students from Kashmir selected to be a part of this prestigious research programme.

The school management, staff extends heartfelt congratulations to Iram Ashraf on this outstanding achievement and wishes her continued success in all her future endeavours.

Today, Rana Army Goodwill School Hajin was privileged to host the Deputy Commissioner, Bandipora, Mrs. Indu Kanwal Chib (JKAS), who presented a Certificate and Letter of Appreciation to the school. The recognition was awarded in acknowledgement of the students' outstanding performance of the National Song during the visit of the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor, J&K, at S.K. Stadium Bandipora on 25 May 2026.

During her visit, the Deputy Commissioner highly appreciated the participation of students, She also acknowledged Ms. Aneeka Mohi-ud-Din, who secured 2nd position in the Inter-District Essay Competition.

The Deputy Commissioner also expressed her desire to witness the school's Morning Assembly Prayer, which was presented by the students with great enthusiasm and devotion. She commended the students for their confident and disciplined presentation.

The recognition and appreciation received on the occasion serve as a source of motivation for the entire school to continue striving for excellence in all spheres of education and co-curricular activities.

In continuation of the 100 Days Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA), the school organized an awareness program aimed at sensitizing students about the harmful effects of drug abuse. The program included speeches by students, a placard display, and a rally.

During the rally, participants raised impactful slogans promoting a drug-free society and highlighting the importance of a healthy and disciplined lifestyle. The initiative successfully spread awareness about the adverse impact of drugs on individuals, families, and society at large.

The program reflected the school’s commitment to fostering responsible citizenship and supporting the national mission of a drug-free India.

*Parent Teacher Meet (Phase II: Classes 4th to 8th)*

Second Parent Teacher Meet (PTM) for classes 4th to 8th (Phase II) was successfully conducted at Rana AGS Hajin. The meeting witnessed active participation from parents , who shared valuable feedback and suggestions for the betterment of students and the institution.
The PTM was interactive and effective one wherein parents and teachers discussed the students performances in healthy and friendly manner to uplift the overall development of students.

NCC cadets of Rana AGS Hajin actively participated in the Nasha Mukti Abhiyan awareness event held at TRC Ground and Lal Chowk, Srinagar, under the leadership of the Hon’ble Lt Governor of J&K. The programme aimed to spread awareness against drug abuse and encourage youth towards a healthy and disciplined life.

Our cadets took part in the rally with great enthusiasm, spreading the message of a drug-free society. Their discipline, confidence, and active participation were highly appreciable throughout the event.
