Filmed over three years with unprecedented access, it is an unflinching portrayal of the incredible lengths people will go to in their search for connection.

Freeform’s new original documentary series premieres May 18, stream on Hulu May 19. The series is directed by Jon Kasbe, produced by Bits Sola, and executive produced by The Documentary Group’s Tom Yellin and Gabrielle Tenenbaum.

We’re incredibly proud to announce our project, The Bering Gate, directed by our own Gabrielle Tenenbaum and co-produced by journalist Bob Reiss, has been chosen by The Redford Center to receive one of seven filmmaking grants this year!

There are places on Earth that are unknown in one century and vital the next—the Bering Strait is one such place. As an impassable sea of ice transforms into traversable waters, this film spotlights t
