Former AAPSU Art & Culture Secretary Offers Relief Assistance to Scooty Owner

Itanagar | September 24, 2026: RissoKiagung All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) Art & Culture Secretary Risso Kiagung has offered financial assistance to the owner of the scooty that was reportedly burnt during the 12-hour ICR bandh called by the All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU) on September 24

Kiagung said he is willing to provide relief assistance to the affected scooty owner and appealed to the owner to contact him.

RAPPER UNB ALLEGEDLY ATTACKED IN ARUNACHAL PRADESH

Lower Dibang Valley | September 22, 2026: Gangtok-based rapper Ugen Namgyal Bhutia, popularly known as UNB, was allegedly attacked by a group of 8–10 men near Tiwari Gaon while returning from a festival in Anini

According to police and UNB’s manager, two vehicles allegedly followed their car for nearly an hour before intercepting them. The attackers allegedly damaged the vehicle and assaulted UNB and his manager with rods

UNB reportedly suffered minor injuries to his head and face and swelling around one eye. He was medically examined and is stated to be stable

An FIR has been registered at Roing Police Station under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and police are investigating the incident and working to identify those involved
