Good morning dear viewers! Welcome to the month of July.
Today's video features a small trip to the paradise on Earth - breathtaking Kashmir. You'll take a shikara ride (houseboat) on Nigeen Lake, with a backdrop of 'Hari Parbat' hill and a hilltop fort. You'll also drive through precarious mountain road (experiencing fresh snowfall), to the picturesque Gurez valley, which falls along the ancient Silk Route. All video footages have been provided by a dear friend, from her recent visit to the place.
In this video, I'll also share the recipe of a mango smoothie, which can be prepared in 5 minutes. It's delectable, nutritious (rich in Vitamin C and calcium) and there is no cooking! I've used green chilli, in the recipe. In case you aren't aware, green chilli and mango makes a great pair. It gives a subtle kick of spiciness to the smoothie. Adjust the amount to your taste. Similarly fresh rosemary adds to the flavour. Add a small amount, too much can be overpowering. A pinch of salt balances the overall taste of the smoothie.

▼Ingredients for the mango smoothie:
1. Mango - 2 numbers (Ripe, sweet-smelling, diced) Preferably seasonal
2. Plain yoghurt - 500 ml (Or any non-dairy milk - almond milk, coconut milk)
3. Clear honey - 2 tablespoons (or any other sweetener)
4. Green chilli - 1/2 number (choose a variety with less heat, deseeded) or red chilli flakes
5. Rosemary sprig - 1 or 2
6. Ice cubes - 10 numbers
7. A pinch of salt (or to taste)
8. Few mango cubes and fresh mint to garnish
